Description: The NACNS Clinical Nurse Specialist Peer Feedback Tool is designed to assist a clinical nurse specialist with any level of expertise to offer live, in person, peer feedback to a clinical nurse specialist colleague. This peer feedback is intended for self-reflection and development of professional development goals. The feedback is not shared with the clinical nurse specialist’s manager and does not become part of the annual evaluation. The goal is for the clinical nurse specialist to use peer feedback to celebrate success and think about opportunities for professional growth.

Purpose of Tool: The purpose of the Peer Feedback Tool is to give CNSs a framework for providing peer feedback to one another. It allows CNSs to self-reflect and, in turn, receive informal peer feedback to be used for their personal and professional growth.
