Description: The use of GLP1-RAs has exploded and they are being used for a growing number of conditions. Exciting breakthroughs are being made but these breakthroughs are accompanied by side effects that have been surprising, such as dental side effects. This program seeks to provide clinical nurse specialists with an update on use of these agents and management of patients receiving them.
Objective: Participants will discuss antihyperglycemic medications that function beyond diabetes improving major adverse cardiac events (MACE).
