The National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS) today announced that Vincent Holly, MSN, RN, CCRN, CCNS, Critical-Care Clinical Nurse Specialist at Indiana University Health, Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington has been elected to serve as the President-Elect of the 2016-2017 NACNS Board of Directors.
Holly has been a member of NACNS since 2004. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2015 and served on the NACNS Practice Committee from 2006 to 2012. Holly is also a member of the Central Indiana Organization of Clinical Nurse Specialists (CIOCNS), the NACNS Indiana affiliate, and served as CIOCNS President from 2011 to 2014.
“It’s a great honor to have the opportunity to serve as President-Elect of the NACNS Board of Directors,” said Holly. “As health care continues to get more complex and technologically advanced, the clinical nurse specialist has an increasingly central role to play in ensuring high quality, evidence-based care for our patients. And NACNS is at the forefront of supporting and advocating for clinical nurse specialists and their patients.”
Holly is also a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and the American Delirium Society. He was an AACN Circle of Excellence award winner in 2012 and a Bloomington Hospital Mildred B. Kohr Excellence in Nursing award winner in 1998.

Holly earned his MSN and his BSN from Indiana University in Indianapolis.
