We have full-time positions available for Clinical Nurse Specialists in our Emergency Department and Med/Surg ICU. We are looking for experienced RNs who can provide excellent care to our specialized patient populations, including our Emergency Department Level I Trauma service.

Requirements:

·         Knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of Master’s degree in nursing

·         Current RN license in state of practice and current BLS certification

·         Certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing as a certified nurse specialist within specialty area

·         DNP or PhD with relevant experience preferred

• Qualified candidate must have a current CA RN license, and may have one of the following:

• Maternal Infant Services
• Critical Care

• California Registered Nurse License and CNS certification is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Masters or Doctorate in Nursing required.
• Experience with Quality, Performance improvement, Evidence-based practice Research strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist for our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department

Our Clinical Nurse Specialist will function as an expert clinician to our Division of Pediatric Nursing. We are seeking an Advance Practice Nurse who enjoys functioning independently and who can provide clinical leadership to mentor and motivate staff to achieve excellence at the bedside.  As a Clinical expert you will be instrumental in the education, development, research and improvement of patient outcomes. This position will function as a member of a cohesive management team, making decisions, setting and negotiating priorities, being a change agent and leading our performance improvement efforts.

Minimum education:  Master’s degree in Nursing, CNS specialist certification

Minimum experience: 3 years oncology clinical experience, 1 year CNS Experience

Required Certification/Licensure:  California RN License/ CPR certification

Preferred Certification- OCN/AOCN
